- Nehru McKenzie (Project Cutz): Project Cutz provide music workshop for young people who are excluded from mainstream education and society. We find music to be a strong medium for young interaction.
- Jackie McNeish (Moss Side Millennium Powerhouse)/Julie Asumu (Chrysalis Family Centre): a workshop on the role of parents in child upbringing and why it is important to be proactive
- Conway Mothobi (UK Passport to Knowledge Project): Space Exploration: black contributions to aeronautics and the space program – a conversation with Conway Mothobi FRAS (the session incorporates a multimedia installation 'Space Exploration and the African Diaspora' – a dynamic exhibition featuring astronauts, astronomers, physicists, space scientists, hip hop artists, etc.)
Exhibitions:
- Esther Clarke (Universal Connection): Soca Aerobic Dance Workshop – raising self-esteem.
- Lwimbo Kunda (Northwest Vision and Media): Mediabox – for youth organizations and schools to learn about funding available from Mediabox. Detailing the benefits of learning outside the classroom and covering the application process and application guidelines
- SuAndi (Black Arts Alliance): Pan African Exhibition
- Erinma Bell/Paul Keeble (Carisma): How do we strengthen, better, or create the family school partnership in particular the partnership between school and black parents and to include absent parents?
